To establish the baseline requirements applied to all credential holders, we did research on essential conditions for trust, utilizing resources like the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy essay on trust to ensure we had our bases covered.
To establish requirements for each certification class, we researched job descriptions and postings and spoke with leaders in each field (both the professionals and companies who work with them) to understand the various elements associated with proficiency. We then incorporated those elements seen as essential in each industry into our qualifying requirements (and curriculum).
